FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Everything you need to know before launching your online ordering app.

Is the first month really free?

Yes, and no card is required: you set up your shop, send us your menu, and start selling. Nothing is asked of you to begin, and nothing is charged at the end of the month — we write to you, and you decide whether to continue. Either way, we take no commission on your orders.

How much does Delova cost?

The Pack Delova is €130/month incl. VAT, with no commission or hidden fees. Three options can be added as needed: table reservations (€60/month), the AI assistant (€20/month) and the AI autopilot (€30/month). You pay monthly, with no commitment, and stop whenever you like.

Is there a minimum commitment?

None. The subscription is monthly, cancellable at any time and without notice: only the current month is due. And setup is turnkey, all the way to publication on the stores.

Is there a commission on orders?

No. Unlike delivery platforms, Delova takes no commission on your orders. The only deduction is your payment provider's card fees — exactly as on the terminal at your counter.

How long does setup take?

Ordering on your website can be ready in 20 minutes: you send us your menu, we put it online. Your own iPhone and Android apps take 2 to 3 weeks, the time it takes Apple and Google to approve them. We handle everything: creation, configuration and publishing.

Who delivers the orders?

Your drivers do, with the included Delova Go app: they receive the jobs, follow the GPS and keep the customer posted. Delova doesn't provide drivers — if you don't have any, simply offer takeaway: your customers order, pay and come to collect. Where that service exists, an on-demand courier can step in when all your drivers are out — an option, to be requested from us.

Do I need special equipment?

No. A phone or a tablet is enough to receive and manage orders with the Delova Pro app. If you want paper tickets, Delova works with standard thermal printers — including several at once (bar, kitchen…).

What about card fees?

Online payment goes through Stripe, which charges its usual fees: 1.5% + €0.25 per payment for standard European Economic Area cards (rates checked in August 2026). The money lands directly in your account, and Delova takes nothing along the way. Cash and card payments on collection cost nothing.

I don't have a website — does it still work?

Yes. Your customers order from your iPhone/Android app, no website needed. And the day you get one, online ordering is added by pasting a single line — we can also do it for you.

Who owns the data and the customers?

You do, entirely. Delova isn't a delivery platform: you keep your customers' details and the relationship with them, with no middleman.

Are the apps really in my own brand?

Yes. Name, logo, colours: the app published on the App Store and Google Play is yours, not a shared platform's. To order, your customers have nothing to install — your website is enough. Your regulars can download your app.

Can I add ordering to my existing website?

Yes. Online ordering is added to your site by pasting a single line of code, in your colours and in all 8 languages. It updates itself, with no maintenance on your side.

Do you accept cash payments?

Yes. Your customers can pay by card online via Stripe, or with cash and card on receipt, whether on delivery or in-store.

Are payments secure?

Yes. Payments run through Stripe and the entire infrastructure is GDPR-compliant. Your transactions and your data are protected.

Can I manage my restaurant by voice?

Yes, with the AI assistant add-on (€20/month). From the Delova Pro app, you dictate or type your requests — mark a dish as out of stock, adjust prices, open reservations — and the assistant acts, with a confirmation before every action.

Can AI handle my orders on its own?

Yes, with the autopilot add-on (€30/month). It accepts, declines and estimates your orders based on strict rules and your real prep times, with three levels of supervision. When unsure it hands over to you, and you can take back control at any time.

Do my customers have to create an account to order?

No. Your customers order without creating an account: their details are saved on their device for next time. Fewer steps, more completed orders.

Are my customers' reviews published publicly?

No. Unlike public review platforms, your customers' ratings and comments stay private: they're only visible to you, in your dashboard, where you can reply to them.

Which countries is Delova available in?

Eight European countries: Luxembourg, France, Belgium, Germany, Spain, Italy, Portugal and the Netherlands. The apps and online ordering work in 8 languages — French, German, English, Spanish, Portuguese, Chinese, Italian and Dutch — and your shop adapts to your customers' language on its own. VAT, address formats and the time zone follow your establishment's country.

What's the difference with a delivery platform?

On those platforms, you pay a commission on every order and the customers remain theirs. With Delova, you pay a flat subscription of 130 €/month: your customers order on your own app and your website, with no commission, and their details belong to you.

What happens if I stop?

You can cancel whenever you like from your billing area, with no notice period: only the current month remains due. On the effective date, your shop closes and your app is removed from the App Store and Google Play. Your customers' contact details and their order history are handed over to you in a machine-readable format, on simple request to contact@delova.eu, for thirty days. Your menu, your logo and your name belong to you and remain yours.

Can I receive delivery platform orders inside Delova?

Yes. It's an option at €60/month on top of the Pack: orders placed on the platforms you already sell on land in Delova like your own — same screen at the counter, same ticket in the kitchen, same history. It isn't ticked at signup: write to contact@delova.eu and we enable it on your account. Which platforms can be connected depends on your country; we confirm which ones before switching it on.
